Community Garden News
- Schools Recieve Eat Smart Grants. Stone Elementary Academy and Summit Drive Elementary have been named recipients of the 2010 Eat Smart, It’s in the Garden mini-grant program to improve their school vegetable gardens. The schools are two of nine across the state to receive the $1,000 award from the South Carolina Department of Agriculture.
Gardening for Good News
- Community Gardens Sprouting in Greer. When a sign is made for the rows of
vegetables growing on what used to be a patch of rough, worn dirt along West Road, it will read the Greer Community Garden.
